Commissions Open

Thu Oct 1, 2009, 6:43 PM
I'm, officially, accepting commissions at this time. I am caught up with my obligations, save for very few which I am working on. I have plenty to do to keep me busy but I've found that it's not going to get any easier so I'm just going to get over it the hard way.

Here's how I'm going to make this work.

Step 1: Send me a note or an email (little.white.mage@gmail.com) with what you want.
Step 2: I'll have a list for estimated prices in this journal but they are subject to change. You'll receive a reply with either accepted or denied and my final price for the piece. As well as any questions I may have
Step 3: You may pay me by paypal or mail a check, I'll give an address per request. You may opt to wait until you can see a thumbnail of the finished or near finished work.
Step 4: Give me an address you would like me to send the final product. Keep in mind that you will have to pay the shipping and handling for the piece. The larger the image the more it will cost. I can send you a digital file via email if you prefer.

I'm not sure if it's legal for me to even sell fanart even if the content, aside from the involved characters, are original. If anyone knows otherwise, please comment.

RULES:::

1. Be specific or I WILL exercise artistic freedom <3 If you have a specific idea in mind, you had better be clear on what you want in advance or I will embellish. Some people like this and I love putting my own touch to the image, so just use your discretion here.

2. I have the right to change the price however I see fit. What I post here are generalizations and I am new at this whole deal. I am still learning what is the right price to charge. But, I will stick to whatever price I email as a reply. That is the only price set in stone.

3. I have the right to post the image I make on my DA site, personal website, and online galleries. I will keep a copy of the piece on file for my resume as well.

4. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I'm easy going and willing to work with my customers. I don't bite (much <3).

(for now I think that's it, may think of another one I forgot after I post this. That happens a lot x.x )

Prices:: (subject to change)

pencil sketches: 5 - 8$
Black and White ink: 10 - 20$
Digital Color: 20-35$

These prices are VERY rough and I can in no way judge the exact amount easily. All things depend on the complexity of the image as well as the possible time I foresee spending on it. But for the very simple sketches, lineart, and colored images these are fairly accurate. For the really complex and detailed things, the price may change.

For traditional media I will have to customize a price for the image by email. Traditional means take much longer, are more expensive to use, and are more delicate. But I am in no way against using them. I am willing, but your wallet might not be :P

I hope that clears up most questions. If not, please email me or comment here.

The circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
